OPEN HEARTS
To love oneself is the beginning of a life-long romance. February is the month most recognized for Valentine's Day. It has become a day contrived by marketers and corporations to make us fullfill their profit margins. Consequently is has also become a day that makes all those without a significant other feel "less than". Not everyone on this day has someone to shower with gifts or have someone to shower gifts upon them. There are also many who do indeed have a significant other, but for one reason or another, one partner choses not to participate leaving the other to feel left out or abandoned.
- Oscar Wilde
We are here today to say, "Stop the maddness." Let this month be about a different, more fulfilling type of love. Unconditional love!! Unconditional love does not allow room for self pity, resentment, depression or mistreatment. Unconditional love is self fulfilling. Unconditional love brings the highest vibration in the entire Universe and who are we to allow generic cards, aluminum balloons and chemical filled candy and chocolate to get in the way?! Take this day of 2/14 to give Unconditional love to yourself and EVERYONE. If we break down the date of 2/14 we end up with the beautiful number of "7", which is one of the most spiritual numbers. So allow Spirit to abound through this most of unselfish loves. Take this day to gift YOURSELF. Do not allow any materialistic or peer pressures to bring you down. You create your own love so allow it to flow through you uninhibited! That is the greatest gift of all.
"Unconditional love, here is my vow to you. I shall love myself for all that I am, all of who I am, and all that I will become. No one shall tell me otherwise, especially myself. Here I stand before as one whole complete person and I need none other than myself. Do not harm and no foul shall be made. Do not contrive for what you shall not be, but for only what is. I have all the tools to complete myself. I shall need no other for it is already there."
